Additionally, you should make sure to add to your website a local telephone number. Since the search engines won't be able to read it, you want to make sure you write out your number in text. You should feature a real number to show you are a real business, meaning that 800 numbers are out.

What's the reason? The problem is they don't clearly indicate your location on their own, even if they look great and professional. Thus, you should ensure your number is completely real.
